Russian proofing tools

Does anyone know whether or not any third parties have released Russian
proofing tools for Office 2004? ABBYY (at apple.ru/ruspell) have a version
for Office X, but apparently not for Office 2004. I am most in need of
hyphenation, but also spell-checker.

On a related note, from what little I know of Office for Windows, most of
their features are also present on our Mac side. Why not proofing tools?
If my understanding is accurate, Office for Windows offers full proofing
tools in dozens of languages, but Mac Office only in 8-10 languages. Would
it be a major task to ³convert² Russian proofing tools from Windows to Mac?

As far as I can tell, there are no third party proofing tool that
integrate in Word for Russian unfortunately :-\

Yeah I fear it might be rather costly and that would explain why us poor
Mac users don't have access to all the other languages supported on
Windows. It got much better in Office 2004, but still, I hear you :-|

De rien Ignat. I really hope more tools will be ported. I think that as
the markets expand (and with Unicode support in Word, they should
expland) the MacBU will want to incorporate more proofing tools...

how to buy it from the US? Is there a site where I can download the program?

But there's a big blue button on that page, at the top, next to a price of
$12, that leads you to an entire page full of email addresses and phone
numbers. Just write to a few of the email addresses. I'm sure you can buy
online from some of them. I don't read Russian so I don't know which places
are appropriate but if you do, you will. The button is labeled "Êóïèòü". It
leads to <http://www.apple.ru/where2buy/> with simply loads of retailers
with email addresses, and some apple email addresses too.
